"Excellent modern hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of Funchal. Rooms were a great size and very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful at all times. Lovely continental breakfast to start the day with a good choice was very good as well. Rooftop bar and lounge are were lovely and peaceful as well as affording a great view over the harbour area. We would certainly stay in the hotel again if we are to return to Funchal in the near future."

"I loved this hotel. Very peaceful in the garden, and the breakfast was great. The room is larger than I was expecting and had a small kitchenette that was very useful. The bathroom space is very functional. The staff were super helpful and friendly especially during our very early checkin in and check out to catch our flights. Would stay here again for sure"

"If it’s your first time in Madeira I’d suggest staying somewhere in city center, it takes 15 mins to get to this hotel. Very nice property and amenities. The staff and service is weak , shortage of staff. The breakfast buffet for a 5 starvhotel and the price was so weak as weak."

"Die Gastgeberin, der Ausblick mit samt der Terrasse oder dem Esstisch in der Wohnung, welcher von bodentiefen Fenstern eingerahmt ist: ein Traum! Das haben wir gesucht, gefunden und bekommen.Es fahren überall Busse, aber mit dem Auto ist man unabhängig und wird nicht so schnell reisekrank ;-). Man ist fix in Funchal, aber viele Gassen sind sehr steil und eng. Manche Wege sind nicht für Touristen, die damit Schwierigkeiten haben geeignet. Plane deine Routen gut oder nimm teilweise Umwege in Kauf. Ein kleineres Mietauto mit guter Übersicht ist von Vorteil. Die Wohnung hat alles, was beschrieben wurde. Sie ist komplett und mit Geschmack, im Stile Madeiras, eingerichtet. Funchal ist in den letzten Jahren gewachsen. Hier muss man nix vermissen. Die Levadas usw. am besten planen und selbst erwandern. Alle geführten Touren können mit touristischen Menschenmassen verbunden sein, auch wenn die Reisegruppe klein ist. Madeira ist ein grüner Traum. Alle Ziele lohnen. Wir drücken den Einheimischen die Daumen. Der Tourismus muss begrenzt werden, wenn das höchste Gut, die Natur, erhalten bleiben sollen. Danke Filomena, du hast uns eine tolle Ferienwohnung überlassen. Muito obrigada! Passa beim! Adeus...Gerne wieder!"
