The hotel is in a good, walkable location, close to the center but without the crowds, which is a plus. However, the room was extremely small. The coffee desk had to double as a night table, with the coffee machine practically next to my face. Breakfast was also disappointing compared to other NH hotels I’ve stayed at. The food quality was low, options were limited, and the service felt indifferent. On several occasions, I had to walk around to find someone just to order an omelette. Good for a night only.

Old building. Small room. Lobby with stairs and no one helps with your luggage. Breakfast located in another building you need to get outside to access. Schedule times for breakfast could be improved and open earlier (6:00 or 6:30 am) if you need to leave the hotel early in the morning you won’t be vele to have breakfast.

This hotel is exceptionally clean, staff are accommodating and it seems quite high end. It does get confusing as there are two side by side buildings and you can check into one while your room may be in the other. Unfortunately, we had a car and there was no availability in the hotel lot so we were resigned to street parking. A local parkade is nearby but I wasn't aware until after the fact.

Bright spots and some drawbacks.

Great room. We received a free upgrade. We asked them to call us a taxi for a very Arly morning ride and the taxi did not appear. I think they forgot to call. I went to the reception desk and they called it and arrived 20 min after the original arranged time. Also they limit how cold the air conditioning gets. The room never got cold, just barely comfortable and Madrid is around 100 F in summer.
