The room was extremely comfortable, large and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The location was central, pedestrianised and seemed very safe.

All the staff were friendly and efficient. The room with a street view was relatively quiet (and better than most for central Madrid) with shutters and double glazing. The street is one way with less traffic than most. Vehicles can be barely heard but people shouting or dogs barking are still audible. The bed was comfortable (mattress medium / firm but with a softer topping) . Breakfast is served until late and you don't need to indicate a time slot thereby allowing flexibility. Location is ideal as El Prado is less than 10 minutes walk in one direction and the same for the Plaza Mayor in the opposite direction. Plaza Santa Anna is less than 1 minute away on foot for bars with outside seating in the square
