"The property was clean inside and out. We had an issue with our AC and they moved us immediately. You will definitely need a car, a driver or taxi to get to restaurants etc. "

"The grounds are stunningly beautiful. Almost worth 10/10 in itself but a couple of things are below par. The pool area is neglected and needs some investment, eg new lounger cushions that can withstand the rain. The food is hit and miss. Breakfast generally very good but a bit chaotic. It really lacks attention to detail by some experienced food and beverage eyes! Although they reply to all ratings it seems to me no actions have been taken regarding some complaints. Eg I still got plastic straws!"

"Lovely views across the street to the ocean, worth taking a camera there with you, birdlife including humming birds, and the sunsets over the ocean, twice we saw the elusive "green flash". They have hire cars next to the accommodation. You will need a hire card to get around or organise a driver / licenced tour guide & vehicle to get around"

"Parking was ample; ocean view was great, but the room was sub-par. It was clean, but the floor molding had been removed, which made the room look really old; No shampoo/conditioner was provided and no hair dryer. Front staff, when present, was friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff was on top of things. Pool was nice and a good temperature, but they allowed children's swimming lessons there 2-3 days while we were there, so that put a damper on the experience. No restaurant on site, but a good one was next door at an affiliated property."

"Not very good experience. Firstly I wasn’t informed before that they would have construction working going on, if I knew this I would have picked a different hotel. The work would normally start around 6:30am. Which is insane if you have guests. The railing on the balcony was rotting with holes. Very unsafe. The balcony doors didn’t lock, I was told they do lock but it’s complicated. It shouldn’t be complicated to lock a sliding door. Not been offered a refund for compensation, but a ONE night free stay, will not be going back to this danger zone. I deserve to be compensated for a hazardous stay"

"The rooms are beautiful! We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. On our final night, though, they were doing a barbecue and it was absolutely fantastic. We wonder if we just had a bad dining night. The other thing that happened was that my 82-year-old mother and myself were walking down from our cabin and one of the hotel staff, driving a golf cart, actually honked at us to get out of his way as he sped past us. My poor mother jumped into the drainage ditch, and nearly lost her balance. When we brought it up to management, they knew exactly who it was, which kind of bothered me because they knew he was a risk already. They offered us nothing, no drink, no note from the manager, nothing. In the end, we did love our stay. "

"Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Massive porch and surprisingly spacious cottages with notably high ceilings. Separated a good distance from the main road with a feel that is entirely secluded, save for a wave to the neighbors. Quiet and peaceful as one can imagine, the only sounds are the ones you want on a tropical island - waves, birds, and the nightly chorus. The AC is more than one could ask for, very comfortable climate control. All of the appliances worked perfectly - my one and only complaint is the poor water pressure in the shower (it is plenty hot, though). This combined with sub par bedding - in light of the high price of rent - are what prevent me from giving that 5th star. The on-the-beach, all-to-myself cottage in paradise being exactly as advertised is what earns the other 4. I hope to get the chance to return."
