"Brunfels Hotel is an excellent stay right in the center of Mainz. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nicely cleaned and charming.
Our favorite is the breakfast, this was incredible! Delicious and every room is so beautifully decorated for a charming stay. "
"This was very convenient to the train station. The restaurant was wonderful. Great Tapas. Everyone was very friendly. Our only negative is it was listed as having laundry services but we found it not to be available on a weekend. There is a self service laundry about a block away. "

No replacement of coffee pods or tea bags- very mean for a 4 star hotel. We slept ok but some may find train noisy outside our window. Rhine view nice and citibikes to hire on site - very handy and cheap! "

"Very clean, comfortable hotel , very handily across the road from a train station. The wifi was not working when I arrrived but the manager got straight onto it and it was fixed within 2 hours, and worked very well for the rest of my stay. The breakfast is excellent.
Good location 2 minutes from the river and on the edge of the old town. I did not need parking."

"Indulgent option near Frankfurt airport if you've got an early departure or late arrival. Everything is high end, and the balcony rooms are worth the splurge. Mainz is a fun little city as well."
"We've stayed at Hotel Hammer several times... and we will keep going back! An easy train ride from Frankfurt Airport and the hotel is directly across the street from the train station. We get greeted warmly every visit and much of the staff now feels like family. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet with special windows to reduce the noise. Breakfast is very nice with a coffee machine so you can make your own latte or cappuccino! "
