"We only stayed for one night before a morning flight from Carcassonne but wish we could have stayed longer! Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. The house looks like something from the pages of a posh interior design magazine. We had a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Restaurants, supermarkets and the rail station are all a few minutes walk. "The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. If you are looking for a central hotel at a reasonable price this is the perfect choice. The room was a spacious apartment with separate living/kitchenette and bedroom. The bathroom was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was well furnished and clean. The residents of the hotel were friendly and I think it is a good idea to utilise the spare rooms for hotel guests. The hotel had secure parking as well."

"The hotel has a great view of the castle and the roof top bar is definitely a bonus. The room was clean and have everything we needed however the toilet was in what can only be described as a cupboard with no space at all. The decor was too dark so much so that we couldn’t find the light switches! The carpet was black and when we dropped a black hair brush on the floor it took us 10 Minutes to find it!"

"Awesome and well priced hotel withing a small walk across the river to the main bars and restaurants, maybe a 4/5 min slow walk and within a 15min walk of the main event of the Citadel, mind this is all up hill. Car parking is free on street if you park in the public carpark by the river which is only a 80-100m walk. Hotel itself is lovely, a bath in the room, open walk through shower and a view of the Citadel and bridge on an evening to take many pictures from. We didn't eat at the hotel, a short 2-3 min walk gets you to all a selection of restaurants, cafe's and boulangerie's over the river. Great queen bed, pillows and shower and the room was immaculate."

"This large house is very lovely and in an excellent location. It is spacious with plenty of areas for our large group to congregate. More detail should be given to the small amenities that guests expect when staying in a home like is, such as paper goods (napkins or towels), body wash or soap in the numerous bathrooms, batteries for the safety light in one of the bedrooms which wasn’t working. All missing. This may seem like a small issue but it is quite expected and inconvenient for guests."

"Charming and well-appointed apartment in the heart of Ville Basse Carcassone. Conveniently located near the train station and a reasonable walk to La Cité Carcassone. Plenty of good food nearby, and also close to a Monoprix Hostess Virginie was very good about communicating. One should be aware that there are about 60 stairs up to the apartment."
