"Feb 2026 Unfortunately, upon our arrival I was shocked to see that the whole resort was under construction. During the day between 9-5pm there was jack hammering and it was impossible to even think. They originally put us in a room that was old and run down. I was so unhappy I said to my husband I didn’t come from Australia to be in this dump. Please ask them to change our room. Thankfully, that did and it was a much better room. As for the restaurants, pools, spas etc I was disappointed and did not eat at any of the restaurants. They also did not have room service! Everytime we wanted to go to the outdoor spa there were drunk hooligans making a lot of racket. The advertising of this place was misleading and I would not ever return there. Such a disappointment especially that it was my first time in Hawaii. The whole place is so expensive and overrated. Don’t waste your money, there are much much better holiday destinations. Marriott resort & spa was not worth the money! The only positive was that our room was clean. THANK GOD!!! "

"Shari has thought of everything I would need during my stay. All was laid out in complete detail. I knew you couldn't see the ocean from the room but if you stepped outside and walked 20 steps, you were standing at waters edge with a panorama view of all of Kailua Beach! "

"Zack, the host, was readily available and responsive to our questions and requests. We were surprised to find that the access to another unit in the complex was across our patio which was right outside our living area. It was awkward to have strangers coming and going so close to our living quarters and I think this should be disclosed in the rental information. The unit is dated and worn.The kitchen is haphazardly equipped, with old cookware, chipped dishes, a mishmash of wine glasses and cooking utensils. Furnishings were fine, as were beds. The 2nd bathroom down one flight to the pool deck was labeled for our unit, but I think was also used by other renters. I know Hawaii continues to get more and more expensive, but we felt this unit was overpriced for the above stated reasons. "

"First time on oahu! The house is in a great location right across from the beach. My husband and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely return. If renting a vehicle, I would recommend maybe a compact due to tight parking."

"We enjoyed our 5 day stay and especially enjoyed the use of the pool and all the different pool toy equipment. The extras like beach towels and ice chest were also appreciated. The home was clean, spacious and well equipped for our party of 6. The only suggestion is to have at least one extra toilet paper roll in each bathroom, an extra paper towel roll and hand soap for all the sinks. The neighborhood was quiet and the yard was beautiful. Contacting the owners by text made communication easy."
