"Staff throughout our stay were extremely helpful & friendly. The was ideal, clean , comfortable with an excellent power shower. Breakfast was excellent, a superb buffet with a range of fruit , cereals etc & an excellent cook to order hot selection. The bar serves an excellent cheese board and well worth the money. Overall a great place to stay."

"The host Marion was delightful to deal with. Prior to arrival I phoned to query why I had been sent a bill for an additional charge over and above what I had already paid. Marion explained it was because Expedia keep making errors with the rate and I needed to pay more, however after a bit more discussion Marion was quick to say she would honour the price I had paid on Expedia . When I saw the room I can see why it should have cost more . It was spotless and comfortable which made me more than happy to follow the instructions about taking shoes off before walking on the new carpet and being carful about getting water on the bathroom floor. This hotel is a dog lovers paradise. Marion clearly loves dogs , and kindly made sure her dogs didn’t attack ours"

"The house was nice and everything was as expected. We didn’t use the hot tub. It was in a great location in lovely Penally. Even though there were roads either side of the property it was very quiet. It’s a shame that the Paddock Inn opposite the property had closed but the staff at the Cross Inn could not have been lovelier. A great base for exploring the area."

"Absolutely wonderful lodge ! We went on a long weekend for a family birthday and had the most amazing time . Beautiful location, really spacious clean lodge, comfy beds , fantastic outside balcony’s, cosy lounge surrounded by trees , great hot tub , lovely walks from the lodge etc etc LOVED IT "
