Fairways and Bluewater Boracay

Fairways and Bluewater Boracay

10/10 Excellent
"Genuinely a fantastic experience and my wife and will certainly be staying there again in the future. the property is beautiful, almost a paradise. Ill start with the room, even the basic, kingsized bed room, was fantastic, its clear they put a lot of work into it. The view was pretty awesome, we had a clear view of the golf course, and even got a side view of the august ( building 9) pool/hangout area. also the room that we were in was QUIET, you could hear a pin drop it was quiet, so peace and quiet is your goal, this is the place. The kitchen prices aren't terrible, i mean their not great, but they are manageable, assuming you don't eat there every day. The building 9 hot, was nice, but a bit small, especially if you are sharing with other strangers, but still enjoyable, the pool there is also pretty cool, i especially loved the partly submerged chairs, so you can relax on the water, order food, and relax by the pool, very cool. to get around, you can take a completely free shuttle anywhere within the resort you want anytime. Oh and my wife and i genuinely missed the free breakfast once we left, it as that good. If were to offer any real criticism, it would be the following. - Make the kayaking/paddlebording on the private beach free. - the Private beach is fantastic, but the cleared area is a bit small, especially given the roped off area is huge, id increase if if you can. - the last critique, is , employees need to be able to extend reservations if requested."

Savoy Hotel Boracay near Newcoast Beach

Savoy Hotel Boracay near Newcoast Beach

10/10 Excellent
"we stayed for 5 nights and 6 days at this Hotel with breakfast buffet. we picked it for the privacy but did not realize how private it would be in the sense that there are limited shops or things to do even at a walking distance especially at night. There were some restaurants open and other shops that used to be in business near or within the hotel complex but it seemed to have closed, due to the lack of tourist within the area. so you would still go to the main parts of the island to get your lively fix which their shuttle service comes in handy when you decide to go on those outings. having its own private beach was a plus which was one of the main factors we chose this as we were traveling with little kids. The rooms we had was an adjoining suite which I can say was very clean, beds were comfortable. They have a gym inside the hotel which unfortunately could use some maintenance, repair or even replacing, all of the treadmill machine were not operable, the cable machine was also almost hanging by a thread. The hallway going to the gym and spa smelled musty. the over all look and feel of the hotel is great they just need better maintenance or upkeep. the staff were amazing and attentive especially during the breakfast service shout out to Helen, Maddie and Rose who have been so accommodating and attentive to our little ones. I would consider booking another stay but probably when the area has been developed further"
