Not too far from the city centre - only about a tenner in a cab. Owners were friendly and got set up quickly. Stairs could be a bit creaky at night but not an issue by any means.

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and providing some feedback. We’ve also noticed that the floorboards have gotten creaky again lately. We’re told it happens due to the age of this Victorian property. Our plan is to seek out some experts to see if they can stop/reduce the creakiness again. Cosy and convenient accommodation. Friendly staff, very clean. It was noisy very late on Saturday night. The breakfast options could be more flexible, but the staff provided alternatives.

Great friendly hotel .
I had a great stay at the family run Yally hotel . I was attending a nearby Christmas party in Didsbury and needed somewhere confortable and convenient and the Yally ticked all the boxes .

Nice and clean room. If you like to stay somewhere quiet then this is it. Friendly helpful staff. Five minutes walk to wilmslow road. Most importantly free parking.

Hi Andrei, We're sorry to receive your negative rating. TOP TIP No. 1: Always review the hotel's policy/terms. For YALLY hotel, all guests require a credit/debit card for processing the Pre-Authorisation Guarantee on arrival. TOP TIP No. 2: When booking through an Online Travel Agent (OTA) such as hotels.com or Expedia, always double check whether a payment is require upon arrival. If the email states that payment is due to the hotel on arrival, then this means no payment has been taken yet. OTAs will request your card details in order to secure a reservation, but does not charge a payment to it (this is in case of No-Shows or Non-Refundable Cancellations - where the funds will then be charged if you do not check-in and have not made payment to the hotel). I hope this helps.

Pleasant, but communal toilet/shower may be issue
Pleasant little hotel with very friendly/helpful owner. Room was comfortable but a little dated. The communal toilet/shower was not mentioned in the listing and some may find this off-putting.

Hey Alex, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We normally describe our place as retro, with some modern touches and original Victorian features :) After checking your reservation, we can see you stayed in our Triple En-Suite room. This room has its own Private Bathroom inside the room (where there is a shower, sink and toilet). This is not a communal toilet/shower as it is only shared between you and your brother. So, we're a little confused as to why the shared bathroom is relevant to your particular booking? We do also offer basic guest rooms, but they are clearly stated as "Shared Bathroom" in the titles and also in the listing details. Our shared bathroom is a really funky retro bathroom and toilet. ;) Furthermore, we also have service accommodation rooms, where it comes with its own private en-suite as well as a kitchenette. Something for everybody! Hope that clears some things up. Glad you enjoyed your stay with us. You're welcome back any time!

Communal toilet - guest be ware
Not the beat nights stay ive had, certainly not the worst. The rattling pipes woke me up atleast twice. Sadly at the time of my booking, there was no small print about the communal toilet and shower.... I had asked for breakfast, its an option when you check in, sadly no one was available and had to go to a local cafe - a car ride away.

Our listings clearly state that breakfast should be ordered in advance, to ensure we have the freshest ingredients the next morning for you, so you can’t just order on the day. Also, the title of our listings indicate whether it is: - Shared Bathroom - En-Suite (Private Bathroom) - Attic (top floor) - En-suite with Kitchenette We notice that you booked through hotels.com, which is not a travel agent that we have direct control over the listing details for, so we apologise on behalf of our actual travel agent (expedia) for not sharing the information correctly. If in doubt, we recommend that a visit to our website or get in touch with us to check. Sorry that you didn’t have a good experience as your expectations were not managed appropriately. This is the first time we’ve ever received such a low rating, so it’s disappointing to us too. We’ll get in touch with our travel agents to make sure the information is correctly shared going forwards.
