This 2nd-floor apartment for 5 people is in a newly built condominium. Just 3 minutes from the coast and beautiful sandy beaches, it makes an ideal holiday destination for family or friends.

The balcony at the front of the apartment is partly shaded and has views over to the Ionian Sea. It is an extension of the living/dining room, with a large swing seat and dining table for meals al fresco.

The airy living/dining room has French windows opening onto private balconies on either side of the building, allowing the sea breeze to pass through the apartment. It is furnished with a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen TV and a dining table. The new open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine and washing machine.

Bedroom 1: The light master bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and a spacious wardrobe.

Location
The town of San Pietro in Bevangna has a long, sandy beach, with crystal clear sea. It has a long, sandy beach and the sea is so clear that when the waters are calm you can see the 23 marble Greek sarcophagi that sunk off the coast in the 3rd century AD. The centre of the town, which has many bars and restaurants, is just a 5-minute drive.

The ancient town of Manduria (15 minutes) makes a great day out. Dating back to before 350BCE, the town has belonged to the ancient Greeks, Romans, Saracens and Normans. Its winding lanes and Baroque piazza show its fascinating history.

The neighbouring resort of Porto Cesareo (30 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses.

The closest airport is at Brindisi, 1 hour 10 minutes away by car.
