Cozy Amish Log Cabin, Near Caves, Grill, Fire Pit, DirecTV, High-Speed WiFi!
10/10 Excellent
"Would definitely book again at these cabins. They were very homely and clean. The host was very responsive and let us know that the power was out and kept us updated as soon as he had any info!!!"
"Very clean cabin with all of the amenities you need. The hot tub, electric fireplace and Roku TV makes for relaxing evenings. Very quiet area. The 3 days we were here I can count on less than both hands how many vehicles we heard or saw go down the road. Here are a couple of tips (that are 100% no fault of the property owners) -There is no cell signal (Verizon or AT&T). But the cabin does have WiFi. Make sure to look up your directions on your maps and actually start them before leaving the cabin.-The water is well water, and the hot water tank collects a lot of iron. The faucets / shower puts off a foul smell at times. Be sure to bring bottled water for drinking, brushing your teeth. When I was talking to the property owner about it, he said he had found something to put in the tank that wouldhopefully help. So, this may not be an issue much longer if followed through with. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for a get-away."
"Our experience was very peaceful, quite, and relaxing in the hot tub after hiking. It was such a nice get away. Cabin is very clean, comfortable bed,and peaceful sleep. Basically has all your needs. Thanks to our host David."
"We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Hocking Hills! The cabin is extremely secluded and peaceful, yet still incredibly close to all of the major attractions, hiking trails, and things to do in the area. It was the perfect mix of privacy and convenience. The creek side is relaxing both with morning coffees on the porch and camp fires at night. On the weekends, it is very cool to see at night, all of the UTVs going up and down the road with their party lights and music. The cabin itself was very spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen essentials to the cozy amenities, it truly felt like a home away from home. You can tell a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable. The host was also fantastic — very communicative, friendly, and quick to answer any questions we had throughout the trip. Overall, this was one of the best cabin stays we’ve had, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Hocking Hills!"
"We loved this place for my sisters bachelorette! Wonderful communication from host, beautiful property and tons of space. We absolutely loved the hot tub and making a fire. Beds were so comfy! The only issue we ran into was trouble finding a confirmation email but this host resolved this quickly. The only other issue was one shower looked like it hadn’t been wiped out but I’m sure this would be resolved for future stays."
Modern Container Retreat with Private Hot Tub near Hocking Hills Attractions
10/10 Excellent
"When we first viewed the container cabin from the street, my husband went, "Are you kidding me? This is where you booked us to spend four days?" Then we went down to the cabin...within five minutes his assessment totally changed. He was fascinated by the layout of the place. Everything was clean and basically looked new. Everything we needed was supplied, all the little thoughtful things were there. Salt and pepper, sugar and sweetner, coffee, tea cocoa, linens. So many times you have to supply all those little things yourself, but they even had snacks there!! Unbelievable! The bed was comfortable, the hot tub enjoyable, the fire pit was a nice touch...and a grill. The shower and bathroom lighting were superb. It is a cozy little place for two without feeling cramped. If we go to Hocking Gills again, this is where we will stay."
