We checked in at 9pm to be charged a £10 penalty fee for checking in late I travel a lot and is the first time told you have to check in at 2pm to 5pm absolutely ridiculous.

Despite being advertised as a “king room” ; it isn’t. Room was a lot smaller than expected and bed was double / queen. Fed this back just after check in and no attempt made to provide a more suitable room. Also fed this back at check out ( when asked how was stay ) and no response.
I’m also a hotels.com vip member and no perks or upgrades offered.
