"The room was lovely and the offer of a free drink in the bar in exchange for no housekeeping is clever. Such a good idea. Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. Had we known yet the bar area would be pretty much out of action to other guests we might have chosen to stay elsewhere."

"We stayed in Heron lodge, it was perfect for us, the facilities are like home from home and the position next to the lake is beautiful.My wife has mobility problems and did not find it a problem. We loved the place so much that we did not leave to visit anywhere for the week we were there just chilled, used the gorgeous hot tub and fished no need to travel if you want to rest."
