Fantastic location. Absolutely brilliant hotel gym…never seen one anywhere near as good. Lovely public areas.
Issue with the aircon in the room which I believe to have been in some sort of eco mode and was not nearly sufficient in hot weather. Spoke to reception who immediately seemed to able to alter it, but this had to be done a few times and was hot in the night.
We had a standard size room on a high floor (an upgrade) - the room was tiny but sufficient for our needs.

Staff were super friendly & helpful, room was immaculate the bed was so comfy, really close to loads of nice bars & resturants, all in all a really great hotel & would definitely recommend to all my friends & family.

"The service did not reflect a 5* hotel. Lobby toilets flooded the walkway outside the toilets on the way to rooms. Flies sitting on the hams and cheeses for breakfast. Although the spa was lovely and the spa staff were great. Would not stay here if the spa wasn’t attached"

"Arrived for a 2 night start as had an event in Burton. The systems weren't working, so couldn't be checked in till almost 12 midnight. Drove from London and could not even put my leg up. On the day of checkout, the lift was not working. The staff at reception said "just take the stairs". We had suitcase ..."
