"The room we stayed in was in terrible shape. The bathroom had the floor coming up and separating on its own. Water would leak out under the shower, under the floor covering causing that. There is cockroaches. Also a lot of black mold in the bathroom and rotten cabinetry. The room we stayed in is desperately in need of a remodel. No one should be allowed stay in that room until that is completed! I mentioned all of this to the staff, and they offered no compensation and no other rooms were available for us to move into. So it was either go rent a hotel and still pay for this one or suck it up and live with the cockroaches."

"Great property with three pools and a SUPB friendly lagoon. GREAT restaurant on-property right next to the pool for dinner ($$$ but well worth it). Two other restaurants/cafes at family friendly prices on property as well. The fitness center is large and very well appointed with a mix of free weights and machines as well as cardio equipment. Far enough off US-1 that there isn’t a lot of noise. Rooms are generously sized and very clean, however you can tell it’s due for a refresh. Common areas have all been refreshed and are wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful property and nice spacious rooms. Stayed in a 2 bedroom and the space was great, but would have preferred the layout to be flipped to have the King in the main room and the 2 queens in the extra bedroom up front so the kids had their own space. Balcony was large and furniture was nice. Housekeeping and front desk staff were fantastic. Pools were nice. Water stations were a nice touch. Biggest issue with this resort was the food and drink situation. Breakfast at Marketplace consisted of reheated egg sandwiches. Far too expensive for what was received. Ended up going off property all other mornings after trying this the first morning. We loved the concept of beach bar area at night with the nice chairs to sit at and relax after dinner while the kids played with the sand toys. However, the service is incredibly slow. We waited 45 minutes for a server to even greet us and take our drink order one night. Pool bar had very average food for a large price. Once again, takes a very long time to receive your order. Tried the beach bar food one afternoon too and were extremely disappointed in the size and quality of the food for the price. Besides the food and drinks, the ambiance of the hotel is great. "

"My hubby and I absolutely loved this place. The pool was super warm and huge! My only complaint was not for the resort or its employees, but in the other guests that ignored the policies of no smoking and no glass in the pool area. Super frustrating to smell cigarette smoke all afternoon in the pool area and the guests that were so disrespectful to the other guests by continuing to smoke. The guy that dropped his glass bottle at least picked it up but, I am sure there will be some small shards that may cut someone. I am not trying to be a karen but, seriously, follow the rules!"
