Meleldor is well appointed and caters well for couples or families with plenty of extras including Sky, ipod docking station, wireless broadband The front bedrooms have sea views out to the sea and beyond along with views directly into the harbour of St Micheal's Mount..... absolutely stunning. The back bedroom looks onto our patio area. Bathroom has bath with a shower over the bath. The cottage is in the heart of Marazion with a public car park across the road along with others a small walk away for a small fee. Meledor is across the road from the super Gododphin Arms for meals, afternoon cream tea or just a coffee/tea or something a little stronger. There is a bus stop a few paces away, so a car is not necessary if you stay at Meledor. Penzance railway station 10 to 15 minutes in the car. Any one adventurous could walk to Penzance along the flat coastal path, just short of 3 miles away. The cosy ,homely ambience of this cottage lends itself perfectly to winter breaks as well as a traditional and effortless summer holiday by the sea. There is a shop with a post office, bakery, clothes shop, gifts shops and many galleries to explore.
When the tide is out you can walk across to St Michael's Mount and wonder around the harbour and visit the National Trust lovely castle. If the tide is in you can travel across on one of the ferries for a small fee.
