"Check in is at 4pm and the only bar on site closes at 5pm. The following day we found out that the Island Store sells alcohol. Food is provided by 2 restaurants near by but we found out that using door dash was better. The restaurant we really wanted to eat at was closed for Labor Day. Staff was accommodating and overall we had a great time."

"The dresser drawers would not stay closed so they remained open throughout the visit. The bathroom sink drain had to be propped up with a piece of plastic in order for the water to drain. Everything else was fantastic!"

"What we loved about this property was the location right on the beach away from the dense crowds. The view was just beautiful. unfortunately we came during a very hot weekend and the beach house, like many in San Diego, did not have any air-conditioning so it was a bit hot. Our other issue was that the grill did not heat up. The owner relayed to us he fixed it after we left."

"This is a great space for a small travel party! And one of very few spots on the beach with AC! The unit was cute and clean and the host was very easy to work with and pretty immediately responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!"
