"Great location to work, excellent food and friendly staff"

"Nice place and worked well even if staff were on vacation (only staff was someone fixing breakfast). Positive was several parking places. Only negative was the narrow beads placed almost in the middle of the room (but if you don't move, you don't fall out of bed). "

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. "We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They accommodated out late check in and vegan made special a vegan breakfast fit for a queen. You won't be staying in the castle but in the building they have right beside. The area is quite peaceful. Very German ! "

"Minunat amplasată la marginea pădurii, oferind liniște și intimitate, proprietatea este bine dotată din toate punctele de vedere. Ne-a impresionat în mod special dulapul cu mirodenii din bucatarie. Pacat ca locuim atat de departe de Lichtenberg, altfel ne-am intoarce in fiecare an sa ne petrecem vacanta aici."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."
