La Sarlamandre

"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

Domisiladore

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (28)
" Monique is a superb host and very helpful. The property has everything you could need in a small apartment. Everything was clean. The addition of an outside sitting area, free WiFi and parking made our stay special. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day - also included. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped - enough cooking and baking equipment do make almost anything. Exceptional value for money and very comfortable space. We will no doubt be back in future. "

"Bernadette was an excellent host. Family of 4 was very comfortable in two adjoining rooms. Rooms and bathrooms have all been renovated with modern amenities . Beds were very comfortable. Host asked us the night before when we would like breakfast, her suggestion for 9:00 am was perfect time. Fresh pastries ( all homemade) yogurt, jams, juice and coffee and chocolate milk for kids, were all ready for us. We enjoyed talking to Bernadette about our travels during breakfast. B&B "Lilas" - SARLAT LA CANEDA - PERIGORD NOIR

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (35)
"Located in an excellent area, close to Sarlat. The bathroom is ok. No soap or shower gel was provided. The bed was good but I would replace the pillows with two instead of one big one. The downside was the shared kitchen and how you need to go outside to get to it. The breakfast was only bread and croissants. "

Domaine Lacoste

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"Great location and well appointed rooms overlooking the lovely pool. Well equipped and scrupulously clean. The hosts, Gladis and Ian were attentive and welcoming. The buffet style offer at breakfast is served individually and was fresh and a great set up for exploring the Dordogne. The dinners served in the evening were fantastic; prepared entirely in house and using the finest local ingredients. I’m rarely so impressed and I can’t think of when I’ve had better. A wonderful experience at a...

La Maison de Tari

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (18)
"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....
