"Loved this property! Very quiet and the beach is right out front. Loved the balcony beach view. Cute and clean inside with a beautifully landscaped property. Grocery store is nearby and about a 30 minute walk to Kīhei town. Walk the beach to the right about 15 minutes and watch the honu come up on the shore right after sunset. Incredible! I would definitely stay again."

"Our stay was Jul 9-12 for two adults and one child. Pros: Easy check-in, clean unit, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom layout, walking distance to beach and grocery store. Used the pool and outside shower to rinse off sandy feet and items. Well-stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, etc. host’s responsiveness when I notified her of slow shower drain on my last night.Cons: Slight turn off of being reminded to not waste energy due to high Hawaii electricity costs. Electricity is expensive everywhere. As a person who doesn’t waste energy, I didn’t need a reminder and I also assume the projected use and cost of my stay’s utilities have been factored in by the host. Unhoused individuals along the public street. This may be because there’s an adjacent church that kindly provides a daily meal to those in need. slowed shower drain on last night."

"This is a really great property located right on the beach! The views are spectacular with both sunsets and morning “moon sets.” The kitchen is well stocked with all the tools you need. The bonus is the beach chairs, umbrella, noodles, boogie boards and even snorkel equipment (everything you can imagine for beach excursions)! Great value!"

"This oceanfront condo in Kihei is a gem! The view from the balcony was amazing, and the location was convenient not only to the beach right in front, but also to many shops and restaurants. The space was immaculate - and I have high standards. Nice A/C units, comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, beach chairs and towels - what more could you ask for? Probably the cleanest property rental I have ever stayed in. Walking along the secluded, adjacent beach is somewhat limited as you run out of sand eventually, but we drove a short 5-10 minutes to larger beaches a few times. If you want a beautifully renovated space with amazing sunset views over the ocean, this is it!"

"We had a very enjoyable 6 day stay at the Sunset House in Kihei, Maui.Some Highlights:My wife said this house perhaps offered the best view on the entire island - that alone is huge and what we were looking forThe beach has soft sand to walk on and was never too crowdedThe house is clearly built with love and very well stocked - from towels to condiments, etcExtremely convenient location for many restaurants/shops you can walk to (.2 miles) or do a very short drive toWe very much enjoyed our stay. There were a few considerations to be aware of: When you look at the initial picture of the house or view the drone video, the house looks quite large. Those images are including a Mother-in-Law Suite which you don't have access to. The house was still fine and had plenty of space for my family (my wife & I & 3 teenage sons) but it wasn't "big" like I was expecting from the pictures. The blueprints included in the photos are an accurate detail of what to expect. No one was in the mother-in-law suite (that would have been a big problem for me).The beach has amazing sand to walk on. However, 10' in the water there are many large rocks everywhere so swimming/playing in the ocean is hard to do. Of course no one controls the weather, we were unlucky with a lot of wind and surf which meant cloudy water (2-4 on the snorkel report) for the duration. No turtles on the beach & I don't think it was a great time of year for sunsets.Fun overall, a few things from perfect"
