"This was a serviceable place, but getting nickel-and-dimed with fees was really annoying (the $40 "reservation" fee was especially obnoxious). I was surprised that the concierges couldn't make a recommendation for a spa to get a massage. I don't know why others are raving about this place; it's pretty ordinary. I didn't use their shuttle, but they do have one for getting around the coast. That could be very welcome to some people, but I don't know how common that is for area hotels. Bottom line: I wouldn't stay here again."

"Shabby. Needs a major refresh; needs new wall paint throughout, needs new shower curtains and shower floor tile, needs new kitchen fan, needs new refrigerator water filter, etc… Couch is uncomfortable to sit on. Overpriced for these particular accommodations. On the plus side there were clean sheets and towels and it is in close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. "

"Perfect for a solo traveler but fine for a couple. Easy check in, very clean. Had everything needed. And the best part its located right by the beach, shops and eateries. Very walkable. Down in the same building is a nice coffee/pastry/ food place Grab breakfast and take to the beach. Also a little grab and go store right there. Would definitely use this place again."

"Matt truly made us feel right at home during our stay. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, and communication with him was always prompt. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. The balcony offered a beautiful view of the beach, and the location was conveniently close to everything within walking distance."

"Unit was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance or a short drive. Location was very adequate despite powerlines and traffic noise which obviously were unavoidable."

"This was the perfect place to stay for our family! There were 12 of us - 9 adults and three children so we also used the guest house. It is a beautiful home with many places to gather together. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one would need to cook. Everything was clean and comfortable. Chris, our host, was very attentive and quick to communicate at any time. He gave us a lot of tips about the area - where to eat and things to do. A terrific host! The location is also perfect - just a few minutes walk from the beach and in a great neighborhood near a park. Grocery stores, restaurants, and scuba/snorkel rental nearby. We would definitely stay again!"

"We flew into Maui the morning before the historic Kona Low storm hit. Thankfully, the wonderful housekeeper allowed us to drop off our groceries before check-in, so our food stayed cold when the storm hit and we lost power. The condo felt very safe, and we were grateful to have a secure place to stay during the worst of the storm. There were even candles available, which helped keep the space lit the night we were without power.Unfortunately, it rained for much of our trip, but we still made the most of it—spending time in the hot tub, reading, and watching whales from the deck and pool area.Sam was fantastic; he checked in on us and offered help in any way possible. Once Kihei began to recover, we were able to walk to happy hour and nearby shops. We also enjoyed short drives to Wailea for açaí bowls in the mornings and walking around that area, especially since Kihei was hit hard and required significant cleanup during the first half of our stay.The condo is well maintained, the AC works great, and the pool area is wonderful. There was plenty of room for our family of four, and the two queen beds in the second bedroom are definitely a bonus.We truly appreciated Sam’s hospitality and how accommodating he was. We would absolutely stay here again—five-star host!"

"This was an excellent location. It had everything you need for a family gathering including infants. It had all the gear to go surfing or boogie boarding. Entertaining inside or outside. It was a very private secure location that you felt safe at. We used the bbq and it was great. The mango trees were starting to drop fruit so we got a couple of fresh mangos. We walked locally to take advantage of the food trucks down the way and we also shopped at the local foodland for any additional needs. Highly recommend and if I return to Maui would use again. "
