"The Budget Host is very conveniently located hotel in Cameron, Tx. Check in and check out process is easy. House keeping did a great job. We didn't use the pool this stay, but we have in the past. Breakfast is no different than any other hotel, but it is always a plus to have complimentary breakfast. I found the beds to be too firm, but my husband thought they were comfortable."

"The home itself was very nice. Unfortunately, we arrived two hours after check-in (5:00), to find a large family still occupying the home. They had asked and been granted a late check-out of 5:00. We were told the owner forgot. We had to wait for them to leave, then the housekeeper came and started cleaning and doing laundry while we got ready for dinner. We ended up leaving at 3:00 the next day and not staying the extra night but were not credited back for the second night. I liked the home itself but I would be hesitant to rent it again due to the lack of, and poor, communication."
