"We had a lovely stay for 3 nights at the B&B and the family room was spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and the tea/ coffee making facility in the room was appreciated. There was a sitting room and kitchen we were welcomed to use with many games, books and umbrellas to use. We utilised the washing machine as we were travelling light. Coco our host was so friendly and warm. She prepared our breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, home made preserves, cheese, boiled...

"This is a little slice of heaven. I had a last minute booking. The owner was kind to reach out to me to make sure my arrival would not be during a time that might conflict with a scheduled appointment. She gave great recommendations and provided a tasty breakfast. I wish I’d had more than one night because it was lovely."

"Our stay was wonderful. Mara and Jerome are amazing hosts, the property was even more beautiful than pictured, the service was exceptional, and the breakfast was very good (with homemade and local produce). I would 100% recommend to visit the Mas aux Cedres. "

"This is exactly the kind of place you hope to find, but never seem to be able to - truly kind and helpful host, clean and spacious (and beautiful) room with gorgeous views over the vineyards, and an amazing breakfast (homemade jams and granola (!), as well as the best local breads, cheeses, and meats - truly a standout) each morning. Absolutely gorgeous gardens and pool, too!"

"This was an amazing place! Quiet and convenient to SCAD Lacoste where our daughter was studying! The breakfast was delicious made even better by the view of the beautiful gardens! We highly recommend this place even if you don’t have a child at SCAD but exploring the beautiful French countryside! "

"Everything was perfect - check menu before you have dinner - what is posted online is different from restaurant menus - my husband and I got 2 different menus at dinner - we went elsewhere - town square has many options
The staff is great!!!"
"This hotel is in a very good location with everything in walking distance. The staff is very nice and the room is very clean. The only problem we had was the room temperature. It was so hot at night that we didn’t have a good sleep but we were unable to adjust the AC!
When I checked this hotel before booking, I had the impression that I had to bring all of my toiletries because they are not listed in the room amenities section, neither is the housekeeping service, but this hotel provides everything so Expedia should correct these information,"
"$12eu for Uber from TGV to this hotel after traveling all day to find out there is nothing to eat within walking distance in the afternoon... not the hotels fault.
We should have stayed in Avignon... it's only $14eu from TGV to 20+ hotels and 30+ restaurants.
That said... this hotel lived up to the Best Western standards we are use too by offering a good night's sleep in a beautiful rural setting."
"AC wasn't working. We had to open the window to get fresh air but it faced the railroad tracks so we had to listen to the trans roar by and the loud announcements from the station next to the hotel all night long. Would not stay there again."
"Well run and decent all around. Excellent location in the touristy old town. The downside is party people are noisy so bring ear plugs. We didn't opt for the breakfast because we felt it was a bit pricey and we were happy to go get a croissant and cafe au lait ourselves."
"We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout.
Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room shortly after, but the process felt disorganised.
We booked a Deluxe Terrace but were given what seemed to be one of the smallest in that category, in the older part of the hotel. No seating area as shown in photos, visible dust, and a terrace next to the parking with a loud AC unit running constantly. It’s hard not to wonder whether booking via Expedia influenced the room allocation.
Service lacked consistency: pool towels not cleared or set up properly, pool water not very clean, and empty glasses left around. Basic standards were missing.
On the positive side, the food was good and restaurant service attentive, and the property is visually appealing. Overall, however, the experience fell short. Would return, but not at the start of the season."
