"The gentleman who runs the kitchen area… His name escapes me… Was such a joy and truly loved what he does! When in the area, we always stay here and it’s a pleasure to see them on what they’re smiling faces!"

"The property in general is visibly unattractive and appears to be deteriorating. The driveway/ parking lot Has potholes large enough to potentially cause damage. Our room 412 was unclean, light above sink flickered and would go off for long period of time. The gfi outlet at the sink did not work, bed was terrible. We arrived in the dark about 9pm after a long flight. Had we seen this pkace in the daytime we would not have even stopped to inquire. We hadbooked 5 days online and they refused to refund any days we didn't stay. We forfeited 3 nights we ore oaid for. This place sucks!! We moved to the Quality Inn right next door...10 times nicer, cleaner and much more accommodating. I cannot recommend this Roadway Inn, in Auburn Hills to anyone. "

"I really wanted to love this house. But, unfortunately, it fell a bit short on my expectations. When I first arrived, my code to get in didn’t work. I messaged the host and called the number a couple of times. She got back to me about 15 minutes later and told me that my code would work now. (It did)Next, I was a little uneasy about the fact that all but one of the bedrooms were locked. I travel alone, so I like to assure myself that I’m the only one in them home. (I understand the reasoning they had and realize this is just my own paranoia, but it was something I hadn’t experienced before.)Then I noticed ants in the upstairs bathroom and bedroom. I told the host and she sent someone to spray while I was out. I later found many more ants all over the kitchen. (I’ve noticed that other reviews stated the same thing.)I also noticed that the lights all throughout the home were flickering a lot. I mentioned this to the host and was told they didn’t see anything while they were there spraying for ants. Then I attempted to use the beautiful tub in the downstairs bathroom. This was my biggest disappointment. It didn’t hold water in and ran out of hot water before I could even fill it 1/2 way. Lastly, I was asked by the host to move my car so a delivery could be left in the driveway between 7am - 11am. No big deal, but I wasn’t told this until 6am that day. A little more heads up would have been nice. The house was really cute, bed was comfortable, but I wouldn’t stay again."

"We had a family emergency and had to leave within 2 hours of checking in. They were very understanding and helpful with the situation. I will be staying there again just due to the reaction and helpfulnes they brought."

"Perfect spot for us while we were in town for a dance competition. The small kids in our party loved that there were some toys there to play with too! Appreciated how everything was labeled and well stocked/equipped. Would definitely stay again if in the area!"

"The bathroom floor in the room I stayed in was unleveled, the mattress was dented which made for a very restless night & someone stole the cable cord off the tv."
