Hands down one of the prime locations on the caldera with amazing views of the sea and caldera hillside. The staff are engaging and helpful. I spent a lot of time outdoors in the pool and on my balcony. Once I walked onto my balcony for my morning tea, staff brought my breakfast for me to eat as I admired the breathtaking views. My room was pristine - no frills, but lovely Kitchener with full refrigerator/freezer and the bathroom had a very open feel with rootless stand up shower and oversized sink, sufficient for soaking clothes, if needed. Both the window and door to the room are glass, which allow for breathtaking views of the caldera and sea even when indoors. I often kept my hinged windows open during the cool mornings to enjoy the breeze. Located literally at the Firostefani city center, this location is prime for activity bus drop off/pick ups, as well as walking into Fira for daytime adventures and nightlife fun!!! I happened to be in Santorini during a couple games of the 2026 World Cup of Soccer and enjoyed the electricity in the air pouring from every corridor, especially those showing the games. Kafieris Blue is also on the Fira to Oia trail, and I am happy to say I walked a portion of the trail to neighboring Imergovili. You can't beat the sunset views from the Fira to Oia trail, and proximity to activity, while still feeling quiet and private. I expect to stay at Kafieris Blue whenever I return. Maria and her team run day to day beautifully!

The Grand Ambassador Santorini Hotel had the best views on the island! The staff even upgraded our room at no cost due to some maintenance issues with our original room. My Wife and I received world class customer service from the staff! We will definitely be visiting Santorini, Greece again in the future! We enjoyed our stay! The staff was super welcoming! Breakfast was limited and amenities were too. Housekeeping could use some work but other than that everything was great!

The breakfast was phenomenal! This is what made this hotel a 5 star hotel. The facilities and surroundings were also beautiful and very clean. Amazing views and great location---walking distance to all the tourist areas and restaurants. The spa was beautiful as well. However, the actual suite was quite small and the bathroom was a 4 star at most. The rain shower head did not distribute equal amounts of water. The housekeeping staff was not very good at refilling toiletries. The white towels looked quite old. They were not soft and looked a bit greyish in colour.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel, beautiful room and all the staff are a credit to the hotel. The service provided by the hotel is second to none and if you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointed.
