Great location, poor condition
The hotel is quite small. It's in a great location close to the town square and Melk Abbey. It is also walking distance to the ferry dock. The staff were friendly and helpful. However we spotted a few cockroaches in out room. The shower did not drain properly.

Nice and close to everything, larger than expected, but a bit confusing layout. Staff were courteous, but not very eager or able to help with parking issues.

Nice night in Melk
Worked perfect for one night in Melk. Convenient to the Wachau Valley as well as Melk Abbey,, which is steps away from the pension. The staff was very friendly and helpful. .

A slightly tired Pension which provides an appropriate experience for the rate charged. Be aware that booking.com nominates breakfast is included in the advertised rate, however the owner said this was wrong and we had to pay.

Very good location of the hotel. It's very close to the Stift Melk, which is a must see. Also the historic city of Melk is beautiful. The hotel itself is OK. It's not expensive though, so you get what you pay for. Especially the staff in the hotel is very nice and friendly.

In my opinion this hotel should be rated a 2 or 2.5. When we arrived the reception/front desk was unattended. After wondering around a bit I was able to find an individual that called for help. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 5:00PM. The room was OK, but the TV did not work, the WiFi was sporadic( I had to either go into the hallway. Or sit in the bathroom) there was no soap in the bathroom. The breakfast was very sparse. I quest I should have been more skeptical with the price, but the reviews were good.

Clean and crisp simplicity, exactly as expected. We checked in quite late and found the English-speaking receptionist to be very pleasant; not the least bit annoyed at our arrival in the quieter hours.

Nice hotel in a great location
Our room was very nice and clean but there is no elevator which makes it difficult to travel with a baby. Overall, a very nice hotel with clean rooms in a great location.

Great budget choice in beautiful Melk
Great location in Melk just a ew minutes walk from the main square. You can also park just outside the pay zone behind the hotel. Nice and substantial breakfast included. Our room was fine but a little small. Very tight en suite bathroom. Wi fi was very weak and hard to grab signal.Overall was very satisfied for the price and really enjoyed the Wachau area. Staff was also helpful with storing our luggage.

nice pension in Melk
very nice and clean pension. The rooms are a bit spartan but very clean. bed was very comfortable. the breakfast (included) was basic continental breakfast; coffee wa great. We paid in cash at check-in....great value!

Unser Zimmer war sehr stickig und beim Betreten hat es so gerochen als wäre es tagelang nicht gelüftet worden. Das Bettzeug hat sich extrem nach Plastik angefühlt, sodass man sehr stark geschwitzt hat. Wlan war defekt. Nur ein Licht am Schminkspiegel im Badezimmer, sansonsten ist das Badezimmer dunkel.

A estadia foi muito boa, o hotel é ótimo e muito bem localizado e com estacionamento próximo a ótimo preço; a cidade é incrível. O único porém é que o nosso banheiro estava tudo entupido o que tornou a experiência de utilizá-lo não muito agradável, mas deve ter sido algo circunstancial: Ficaria neste hotel novamente tranquilamente.

äußerst nette kleine Pension zu einem sehr guten Preis.- Leistungsverhältnis, freundliches und sehr bemühtes Personal, saubere hübsche Zimmer, gutes ausreichendes Frühstück, sehr zentrale Lage (keine 200 Meter und man ist schon in der Fußgängerzone bei den ersten Weihnachtsstandln), öffentliche Parkplätze gibt es um das Hauses herum in der grünen Zone für EUR 2,50 / Tag. (Sam/Sonn. gebührenfrei), Maria Taferl, Spitz und Dürnstein und sogar Melk sind mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit als Ausflugsziel erreichbar. Ich kann die Pension nur weiter empfehlen und würde selbst jederzeit hier wieder übernachten.

Nette Pension, sehr günstig gelegen
Die Pension war sehr nett, Zimmer sehr ordentlich. Betten bequem, das Zimmer lag zum Hof und war daher sehr ruhig. Leider waren im Bad keinerlei Haken vorhanden, so dass nichts aufgehangen werden könnte, nur die Handtuchhalterstange neben dem Waschbecken. Das Bad sollte dringend einer "Schönheits-OP" unterzogen werden, nicht nur wegen der Haken.Wlan hat bestens funktioniert. Frühstück war nicht üppig, aber wohlschmeckend und dem Preis angepasst. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Sehr kleines Zimmer. Dusche könnte man mal vom Schimmel befreien. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett reserviert, gab es aber nicht. Die Dame an der Rezeption war aber sehr bemüht uns trotzdem zufrieden zu stellen. Kleines feines Frühstück inkludiert. Die gratis Parkplätze, die angegeben sind, gibt es allerdings nicht. Alles in Allem okay für eine Nacht.

L'emplacement idéale à quelques minutes à pied de l'Abbaye est un atout majeur pour l'établissement. Nous regrettons cependant l'absence de climatisation dans la chambres difficiles à aérer. A noter également, l'établissement ne dispose pas de parking mais il est facile de stationner dans la rue ou dans les parkings à proximité.

Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft
Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist für die Erkundung und Besichtigung der Stadt und des Stifts bestens. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, eine Fahrradgarage war wie auch anderswo am Donauradweg selbstverständlich. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine einmalige Übernachtung gerade richtig. Beim Frühstück wurden wir bestens bewirtet. - Die Einschränkung in der Beurteilung hängt allein vom Zeitpunkt ab. Dieser fiel mit dem Melker Höfefest zusammen; das war erst schön durch die vielen Angebote in der Innestadt, nachts aber dann doch laut. Dafür könnte die Schallisolierung der Fenster, die wir trotz Wärme geschlossen hielten, besser sein.
