We stayed in the pod behind the pub. Great fun and very comfortable. Bed and breakfast in the pub and also had dinner. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing.
My daughters and I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved the property. It was so quiet and had a lovely country feel. The restaurant was excellent, some of the best food we had while we were in England. Our breakfast was included in the stay and it was also excellent. We have such fond memories of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
Very clean, great bedroom and bed sadly let down by the bathroom. Gap under door made it pointless being there and nowhere to put anything down, a tooth mug on wall would have helped. Overall good for short stays only. Breakfast and staff were superb.
One of the best little independant pub / hotels Kay and I have ever stayed in.
Everyone working there were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the food and accommodatiion were spot.
We wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Lots of good details and home made stuff. Bed good, shower amazing. Food was a highlight. The room (at the back) was not very soundproof - so could hear most of neighbours convos.
We are lucky to have found this true gem, it was our second time staying and we will go back time and time again, the location, pub, restaurant, rooms and staff are absolutely amazing. The smell of the log fire as you walk in and the overall cosiness
Picture-perfect, cozy, welcoming, with friendly staff, excellent breakfasts and great beers - we spent a lovely couple of days here.
Nice touches like fresh milk for your room if you'd like to make your own coffee in the morning. And the village shop is right next door if you need anything.
Nice clean well managed pub with rooms very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The food was very good especially the breakfast which was excellent. Great service from all of the staff. Loads of parking.
Beautiful location in the heart of english country side. The staff was awesome. Room was very well furnished and equipped. The drive to the place via scenic route was absolutely a delight to your eyes. Would stay there anytime and everytime
Pretty inn with lovely decor and grounds. Enjoyed room and dinner, tasty fare with lots of local items. Breakfast included was a nice touch. Service conscientious but at times a bit short. Beautiful even in the rain
An absolutely spectacular in. Jackie and her team were fantastic and took such good care of us. The food was also exceptional. I would highly recommend this venue for any one who wants to have a great time in the Wiltshire area. On top of all of that, the bus into the town of Bath stops right across the street from this hotel. Five stars if I could give more, I would.
Beautiful cabin past the potting shed in a rural gastro-pub setting. Set well enough away from the main premises that you don't feel overlooked or disturbed. Staff were lovely, great location, food was also very good (although I'd avoid the vegan dessert if I went again). Bathroom facilities in-line with the tiny-home aesthetic - bear this in mind if you intend to spend a lot of time in the bath, I suppose? Would go again!
I stayed in a log cabin at the back of the Inn's garden. It was both private and very comfortable. Including kitchen facilities and a smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video etc. There was also a nice little porch area with a view of the fields behind the property.
The Inn itself is a beautiful old cottage with a large picturesque garden.
My only complaint would be the unrequested wakeup calls. I booked with breakfast included, the staff thought they would helpfully bang on my window periodically as a reminder it was available. I had been out late the night before and had intended to sleep in. So this wasn't welcome.
On check-out day, I was just finishing up in the shower to make my way over 30 mins before breakfast and check-out was supposed to end and someone entered my room / cabin. Just to see if I wanted breakfast.
Personally I don't like to be disturbed unless necessary. There was a phone in the cabin, so if they were anxious about checkout and really wanted to get hold of me they could have tried calling first.
That being said, this didn't bother me too much but I felt it worth mentioning as I have never had this at any other place I've stayed.
