"Our room was excellent! Breakfast was fresh and great! The staff was helpful and friendly. We did not like that the pool was right next to the dining area. It is disturbing to see women in thong bikinis while eating. The windows of the gym were also looking out to the pool where there was great indecency. If it wasn't for that our stay would have been perfect. "

"Although I had booked and paid, when I arrived, I was given a key to a dirty room, atv10pm, and then told that there was no housekeeping, or any other rooms available. Ater 2 hours of teying to find other hotels to staybin, without luck, I had resigned to sleeping in the lobby, thenntakingbthe shuttle in the morning to the cruise ship. Imagine my surprise when Louis the night manager/clerk, told me Ibhad to leave the premises or he was going to call the police. I asked him where I was supposed to go, and he told me he did not care. He indeed did call the Miami PD, and even they tried to talk him out of putting a 58 year old woman, out in the streets of Miami, with nowhere to go, at 230am. I was made to leave by MPD, suitcases in tow, and put out in the street. Luckily the Hyatt was within walking distance, and they were kind enough to let me stay in their lobby, fed me, and allowed me to shower the next morning. LaQuinta and Hotels.com should both be ashamed if themselves for the way they treated a customer. Also, I saw roaches crawling uo the wall in the lobby, gross. DO NOT STAY IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, MORALS, OR HONOR AS A BUSINESS!!!"
