"The property itself is very pretty , great pool and very good food - however the owners lack of English and organisation skills are very limited - There is a very good manager but he seems to do everything for her because she is so chaotic ! For those that remember Faulty towers , this is the French version - you need a car to get to the nearest towns and villages , they are a long walk ! My room was fine but it needs updating and the rooms vary alot - the better rooms are in the first building...

And we didn't even think about it when we booked, but the pool was such an amazing surprise. Tuck in the countryside, away from the hotel, this is the way. Would come back here in a heartbeat."

"The dinner meal was good but the breakfast was outstanding ! There was well cooked bacon and it’s the first time I have this included in a breakfast in France. Wow ! Thanks to the Polish woman who was in charge of the breakfast. But there was a flaw. The noise from the other rooms was extremely loud and this doesn’t make sense in a hotel. I could hear the words the people were saying. That absolutely doesn’t make sense. There should be a solution for that MAJOR problem."

"Located only 100 meters from the Ochre Center, Hotel Les Ambres is charming and comfortable, with very friendly staff. The rooms was nice, and the dinner and breakfast were both terrific. Very relaxing visit!"
