"Nice location in the lovely and relaxing area in the black forest. Warming welcoming and very friendly restaurant in the hotel. "

"Stayed for one night, booked last minute the day before traveling North from Switzerland, needed somewhere in the black forest with good check-in/out times and somewhere to securely park the bike (car park right by the hotel, plenty of eyes on it and it's quite a secluded location so no concerns!) - great little beer garden, food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was great - great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

"This was an excellent apartment for our stop over on the way to Italy - such a beautiful small town with all the amenities."

"The staff were great, the food was delicious, and the family suites were comfortable! Would stay again."

"Amazing , worth every penny . Great view , and very courteous staff. "

"Very clean, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, easy check in and out"

"This hotel was fantastic. The room was large and had comfortable beds and large bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice."

"Amazing hotel especially in familly"

"The property was beautiful and the view was amazing! Plenty to do in the area even in the summer. Breakfast was delicious. One of our favorite stays while visiting Germany."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"We had a great time at this hotel. It is family operated and everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic, and prices very reasonable. We are planning to stay here again next year. "

"Loved this stay so unique and the cafe under served the best food."

"Great hotel, very friendly staff and great food! Will definitely stay again if I’m in that area!"

"The guy at the reception was sick with a runny nose, absolutely in no condition to handle guests. The restaurant down the street is worth trying, I had the best apple strudel ever! The spa was ok, you have to pay extra for the robe and towels. This place showed up on Expedia as a hotel for Zurich, pay attention, it is an hour drive deep in country side in Germany!"

"Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head."

"I had a perfect stay, breakfast is very good and has plenty of choice. Room and hotel were very very clean and newly renovated. My stay was perfect accross the board !"

"Wonderful"

"Amazing place! Clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, perfect pool, steam room, sauna, and we can’t wait to return."

"The hotel is old, rooms are old, however, it was very, very quiet, safe and clean. The breakfast was excellent, very hearty with lots of variety. A great place to stay right outside of Freiburg with easy driving access to the old city. We would stay here again."
