"Amazing place! The owner Elizabeth incredible friendly and helpful. The hotel is up a 1km dirt road, and then you arrive at a beautiful vista in the rolling hills. Dinner there was amazing and so much food. Breakfast amazing, all food either grown at the hotel or very local. Accommodations in a former convent with original features. A special, special place. We just wished we had more time there to explore the grounds."

"A truly excellent hotel in terms of value for money, service, cleanliness, decor and transport links. It's a two star, but I suspect if it had a lift it would rank higher. There are only three floors in total and there was a stair lift, if needed, for suitcases etc. The owner is a lovely, friendly and helpful lady and the hotel is directly opposite the train station for Assisi with frequent buses to the old town.
