"The staff are helpful and thoughtful all around the hotel, especially in providing sightseeing information. The hotel amenities in the public areas and room are impressive which makes the stay very comfortable. Gym, pool, steam room, and sauna room are free to use with towels and drinking water, and shower toiletries in the locker room are provided. The buffet breakfast and complimentary chocolate hour are impressive. There is a wide variety of food and drinks available for the buffet breakfast. My experience at Mövenpick Hotel has been amazing and I will definitely be back again the next time I plan to visit Jakarta."

"The Morrissey Hotel is in the old Jalan Jaksa area of central Jakarta. Both the hotel and other buildings in this part of Menteng have a distinct 1960s vibe. This vibe has been brought up to date at the renovated Sarinah department store which still sells batik fashion for men and women plus the eye catching arts and crafts. The Morrissey Hotel itself is still good value and provides good coffee, pastries and both ala carte and buffet breakfas. Quieter during the week, Saturday and Sunday brunch can both be busy. If you need laundry done before or over the weekend, be careful to ask if it can be done and returned when you need it."

"Great hotel. Great location for street foods and grocery stores. Only issue I had was rumbling generator noise. I an a light sleeper and this like all other hotels I stayed in in Indonesia has no soundproofing. Hence the 4 * rating. Besides that all was great. Better than Mercure which I stayed in later."

"From the time I arrive , staff was very helpful. its a clean bufget hotel but for my purpoes it was located where i needed to be. plus obtaininb transportation is always easy, local store is near by, laundry servce, restuarants,street vendor, quick arts, beer store next door, breakfast was good expecially for my delicatye stomach. vrom managemtn to receptions , house keeping everyone was polite and willing to help, I actually stayed longer then was expected."
