"We chose to stay here as it was close to Roland Garros which is why we were in Paris. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city. It is close to tram lines and bus stops. The staff were decently helpful. However we arrived very early in the morning after a long flight and layover, prior to our check in time and we had to wait almost 5 hours in the lobby before our room was ready. And despite the long wait and hotel staff witnessing us slumped over in the couches, they did not provide anything additional or a larger room. The room itself was on the smaller side. Initially the AC was not working, but they fixed that soon after. We also had 2 incidents: someone knocked on our door loudly a few times around 6am one morning but didn’t identify themselves when I asked who was knocking. We thought it could’ve been a potential thief. Also less than 24 hours later, around 3am the next morning, the fire alarm went off causing all guests to exit the property. This was very chaotic. Apart from these incidents, our stay was pleasant"

"Great location, only a few minutes' walk to the Palace. However, for the caliber, and price, this hotel was a major disappointment. The A/C is either not working (most public areas, elevators and fitness center), or not useful in the bedrooms, since the units are installed only in the entry to the sleeping rooms, no airflow in the bedroom. Staff, both front desk and housekeeping, are barely there and answered their phones only about 20% of the time we tried to ring. Maintenance of the property has been neglected and the aging shows - broken light fixtures, shower heads, worn/dirty carpets etc. If not for the location, I would rate this hotel even lower and tell others to avoid entirely!"

"Finally, a comfortable bed! After several nights of travel, it was a welcome relief to get a good night's sleep. The location was excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and bike rentals conveniently available right on the property. One of the highlights of our stay was renting bikes and exploring the beautiful grounds of Versailles. Riding through the gardens, tree-lined paths, and around the estate was both relaxing and enjoyable. We even biked all the way to the gates, which made the experience feel much more immersive than simply walking. The property was well-maintained, peaceful, and offered a great balance of convenience and comfort. Being able to explore the area so easily without relying on transportation was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend taking advantage of the bike rentals to experience Versailles from a different perspective."

"shower was tiny corner triangle barely any room . Booked for 3 adults. No cleaning over the 3 days we stayed. Only hand towel sizes provided. Room was cleaned well on check in and the staff were all very nice . We enjoyed our stay as most of the day we were out. Very comfortable beds ."

"The staff at the Mercury Hotel were very friendly and helpful, and that was definitely the highlight of our stay. One positive aspect was the location. It was close to a shopping centre, so everything you need is nearby. The connection to Paris was also convenient, with Uber costing around €20 one way. However, overall the hotel felt quite outdated. In our room there were signs of wallpaper falling off, and we also experienced a leaking pipe in the bathroom, which we reported to the staff. The swimming pool water was very warm, which was nice, but the breakfast was quite basic and not what I expected. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff did not speak English, which made communication difficult. Out of all the Mercury hotels I have stayed in, this was definitely the poorest experience overall."
