Parador de Mérida
As usual this Parador is housed in a lovely old building. There are examples of antiquity all around. The public rooms are comfortable and spacious and the bedrooms have everything one might need. An excellent breakfast is served and there is a dining room for lunch and dinner.

The lady on the reception when I checked in was very helpful and welcoming. She spoke English which helped due to my Spanish not being the best.
