This hotel was one of the highlights of my road trip. The city of Ciudad Rodrigo is stunning and so historic and this is one of the most impressive buildings in it. To stay in the palace was a priviledge and the place really is top class. The rooms are lovely, but clearly cant be modern - but they have a charm and elegance that you wont get in a modern hotel.
