"Upon entering the room there was a smell of dampness, the floor was wet. I understand humidity; the a.c. had not been on so that doesn't help. There is no coffee maker in the room; the coffee dispenser in the lobby was empty, twice. The iron was broken and leaked the water everywhere. The "arcade" or activity area was misrepresented. There were 2 foosball tables and a giant connect 4. It was upsetting that there were no sports channels to watch the NBA finals. I guess I overlooked it, there is no swimming pool. There was mounds of fire ants in the grass, I unfortunately found that out when I walked in the grass, in the dark. I was disappointed as I used the ratings to pick this hotel."

"Some of the trim in the room was missing or detached. There is an ice bucket to get ice, however no cups in the room and the ice machine worked but could use a cleaning on its exterior. A/C was very good. Beds are uncomfortable in our room, could be helped with a simple foam topper. The breakfast provided was only wrapped pastries and cereal, nothing hot. Overall, the lodge is acceptable but could benefit by having a better breakfast and a coffee pot in the room."

"So I found this property on Hotels.com. It started okay and normally I shoot for hotels with 9 stars and up but there were hardly any hotels with a reasonable rate for one night, we just needed to sleep comfortably after my daughters games in a tournament. 1st issue was they have “A” washer and dryer but no detergent or quarters available to use it so you have to go to the store. But nevertheless we went and got what we needed. 2nd issue was after we get done washing her uniforms we lay down for bed because we needed to get up at 8:00am and it is 12:00 am, when we start hearing running, jumping, and thumping above us. I call downstairs on my cell because the room phone did not work and inform the lady at the front desk and she says she will take care of it. Well it continued and I called back and still nothing was done because I finally just cut the tv on to drown the noise as much as possible. It began again at 5:30 am the next morning. 3rd issue was the room was extra hot. The air came on maybe 2 times during the night and it was on 68. 4th issue was since we were up we decided to check out early, in leaving the room roaches began to appear. So when I got to the desk I asked to be accommodated for the said issues and was told to call on Monday. I asked for my receipt and was told I could not get one since I booked with a 3rd party but I always book through Hotels.com and they always give me a receipt. I did get the receipt, FINALLY! So 0 out of 10, do NOT recommend!"
