"This was an amazing stay! The room “Hacienda 4” was beautifully decorated and the staff was amazing! It’s close to many things which are walkable. The staff were incredible. This place was one of the highlights of my stay. Highly recommend, great place to relax after long days exploring CDMX! "

"I would give our stay ten stars if possible. The staff is wonderful, the room was large & comfortable with all needed amenities, wifi worked great & the breakfast was an added plus. It’s also on a quiet side street & in a lovely neighborhood. We’ll definitely stay here on our next visit. "

"Staff is friendly even if they could not speak English. The building is old. Plumbing fixtures are old. Had a hard time figuring out how to get hot water in the bathroom. Television does not work. No signal. Internet connection is poor. No AC/heating. No elevator. I arrived at 2 am, tired, and had to drag my luggage up the stairs. The so-called breakfast was a disappointment. I had to go out to get a decent breakfast."

"Great location in Centro built on top of and with a view below the hotel of an archeological site. Delicious and extensive breakfast. Daily coffee and snacks a nice treat. Clean rooms and helpful staff. "
"Our suite was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Mexico City can be a bit overwhelming but Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico was a perfect refuge. The restaurant was terrific, both for food and for the incredible view overlooking the Zocalo. There was also a lovely lounge for residents of the hotel only."
"Hotel and room were spotless, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, complementary water was provided - everything here was excellent! Will definitely return!"
