Heerlijke midweek in Middelkerke gehad. De recensies waren erg goed en de verwachtingen dus hoog gespannen. Toch bleek het mogelijk om onze verwachtingen te overtreffen. De bedden waren stevig maar zeker niet te en er is dus goed geslapen. Hierdoor was er voldoende energie om leuke uitstapjes te maken waarvan er veel mogelijk zijn in de omgeving. Op een gegeven moment ontstond er een running gag binnen ons gezelschap of we er ook nog in huis een -vul iets willekeurigs in- was: staafmixer (check), föhn (check), champagneglazen & koeler (check). Kortom erg compleet uitgerust huis. We hopen er in de toekomst nogmaals heen te gaan.

Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om een weekend te ontspannen. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons vriendinnenweekend. Rustig gelegen, maar toch vlakbij het strand en voldoende eet- en drinkgelegenheden in de buurt. Alsook genoeg mogelijkheden om activiteiten te doen, zowel bij goed als bij slecht weer. Het huis zelf was perfect in orde, alles was proper, netjes en verzorgd.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Wir hatten das Ferienhaus für eine Woche gebucht. Der Vermieter war bei unserer Anreise vor Ort und die Hausübergabe verlief einwandfrei. Die Ausstattung des Hauses hat einiges zu bieten (Whirlpool, Infarotkabine, Flipper, Kicker, Tandem-Räder, Kettcar usw.). Nur den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, da das Wasser nicht mehr ganz so frisch aussah und die Temperaturen im September nicht mehr die wärmsten sind. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, sodass wir Hund und Kind problemlos laufen lassen konnten. Die Lage des Hauses war sehr ruhig und dennoch war der Strand in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch ein Hallenbad und das „Freizeitzentrum Kegel X-treme“ (Bowling, Minigolf, Escape-Room, Kartbahn und einiges mehr) sind fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Einige Kilometer in Richtung Ostende befinden sich einige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles in allem können wir das Haus gerne weiterempfehlen.

Der Aufenthalt in dem Haus in Middelkerke war wunderbar. Wir sind aufgrund von Verkehrsproblemen auf der Hinfahrt erst spät Abends angekommen, aber nach vorheriger Absprache mit dem Vermieter wurde hierfür eine Lösung gefunden. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend, genügend Geschirr und Besteck um mit 10 Personen in dem Haus zu wohnen. Eine Flasche Champagner im Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung. Kaffeebohnen im Vollautomaten, damit man auch am ersten Morgen mit einem frischen Kaffee in den Tag starten kann. Holz für den Kaminofen ist in ausreichender Menge vorhanden (wenn man im Herbst dort ist, ist das sehr schön gemütlich). Neben der Garage für ein großes Kettcar (Bis zu vier Erwachsene), ein Fahrrad und 2 Tandems. ist ein Raum mit Billardtisch (flämisches Billard) und ein Kicker, auch hier ist ein Kaminofen. Im Garten steht ein Gartenhaus mit Sauna und Whirlpool für 3 Erwachsene (Unsere jugendlichen Kinder haben ihn geliebt) Für kleine Kinder ist ein Spielturm mit Rutsche im Garten. Der Strand ist nur einen Spaziergang entfernt. Das Fahrrad haben wir zum Brötchenholen am Morgen genutzt, für größere Einkäufe liegen große Supermärkte (Lidl, etc..) in kurzer Fahrdistanz mit dem Auto. Ostende ist hervorragend mit der Tram, welche die Orte an der Küste miteinander verbindet zu erreichen. Brügge mit dem Auto eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, welchen wir in vollen Zügen mit 2 Familien genossen haben.

We zijn voor de tweede keer naar villa Arthur gegaan met de familie. Net zoals de vorige keer was het weer tip top in orde. Er werd echt aan alles gedacht, opgedekte bedden, verse koffiebonen, spelletjes, een go cart en natuurlijk de heerlijke jacuzzi. Het enige minpunt voor ons is de zithoek waar echt te weinig zitruimte is om met 10 personen gezellig en comfortabel samen te zitten.
