The Byre great for families who enjoy a farm experience and walking.

The Byre great for families who enjoy a farm experience and walking. Accommodation large plenty of space for six, only drawback was one bathroom/toilet, albeit that this was large with a great walk in shower. Kitchen well furnished with all equipment you would require. A welcome pack was provided which was appreciated. Electric car charging on site (NB you need pound coins for your EV to charge up. However no great issue there and it was great to know that we could charge our car where we stayed)Roseberry Topping a 15 minute walk away. Kings Head was adequate for a drink but food usual pub fayre. Great Ayton has a great Persian Cafe (The Pomegranate) for breakfast and lunches (not to be missed!) Also try the Velveteen Rabbit great breakfasts. Saltburn proved great, lots of cafes and quirky shops. Book a table at the Seaview won’t be disappointed. Byre was a great central place to tour N Yorkshire.
