Friendly, comfortable, convenient location

James and Katherine are friendly and attentive hosts and very happy to accommodate our request for a quiet room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient for the town centre, with on street parking outside (free after 4pm). We enjoyed our overnight stay at Amonite Lodge.

We booked a wedding reception here and were very pleased with the orangery room and the buffet was excellent

Right in the beach front which is lovely however when arriving i noticed the pool was shut so i was tokd i can use the pool next door the carlton hotel , i arrived on the hottest day of the year it was so hot but when i got to my room it was even more hotter there is no air conditioning and also noticed the bathroom heater was on , i asked the house keeping team coulld i have a fan and the ladys attitude was very rude said no there all out in other peoples rooms not even a sorry , however reception staff are nice and friendly, where are the house keepers common sence when cleaning rooms turn the bloody heating off as the switch was left on , also if staying in this hotel dont forget to take a fan with you .
