"We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Woodstock. Our room was lovely - and absolutely spotless. Kim, the owner, is a kind and welcoming person. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We will absolutely stay here again if we go back to the Kansas City area."

"First, finding the house was a bit of a challenge. It's a bit hidden from the main road and not all map programs seemed to know where to go. The host is trying to get that corrected.
The online photos did make the rooms look a bit larger than they actually were, AND we old folks with bad knees found the stairs to the bedrooms a bit challenging, but other than that, it was the perfect headquarters for a long overdue family reunion.
The host was amazing, responding instantly every time I called with a question.
We had six adults staying at the house with nine others who stayed with family but came for meals and games. We were thankful that we'd brought two extra card tables and six chairs.
Updated appliances, especially the large refrigerator/freezer, made our food prep and clean up a snap. Kitchen was well supplied, but glad we'd brought extra utensils since there were only enough for eight individuals. The super dishwasher drawer was impressive, but an old-fashioned double tray style would have been preferred.
In the master suite, the double shower was amazing. The double sink with vessels was also impressive, but difficult for me at 5'3" to reach. The queen bed was cushy and comfortable.
There was adequate space for visiting with others in small groups or individually at the dining table, in the living area, or on the deck.
Overall, it was perfect, with beautiful backgrounds like the fireplace for family photos and a huge yard to provide privacy."
