The room was very comfortable and quiet with toasty warm carpeted floors and pretty furniture. The service and food were outstanding for the breakfast and coffee bar. Kind and considerate staff and beautiful property with walkable. Great location to amazing historical sights and shopping.
The room was very comfortable and easy to access, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was super, super nice, welcoming and helpful. Price was obviously steep, but the location is 1 minute from Santa Maria delle Grazie, where Leonardo's Cenacolo is, and close to the metro to go to the airport, so it was definitely worth it.
Boutique hotel near Basilica di Santa Maria Grazie
My brief stay at Antica Locanda Leonardo was lovely! I had a small, but comfy room at the end of the hall. It was quiet and cozy and everything I needed! Breakfast was good, too!
The staff was wonderful, very helpful and very patient. The location was ideal; close to transportation and walkable to most places we wanted to go. The rooms are all on a courtyard, so quite quiet. We will certainly book here again the next time we are in Milan.
Antica Locanda Leonardo is a quaint, old-fashioned hotel. Has a feel for being from an earlier age of travel. I only stayed one night but definitely hope to return for a longer period of time. There is a bistro next door that is also worth a visit. I loved the experience. Most importantly, it is very near the church where Leonardo's Last Supper is situated. A great surprise (well beyond expectations) and a must see!
Great quiet location, but subway trains can be heard. Also, two sets of keys would add flexibility to the guests. Breakfast is great! Front desk is very helpful!
It was a last minute plan to stay overnight at Milan and this place was just amazing overall. It was at a great location, the receptionist was very helpful and the room was absolutely amazing!
Very clean and spacious, amazing interiors and the garden and sit out area was very aesthetic. I definitely recommend this to all travelers.
Conveniently located steps from Tram stop and 10 minutes from Metro and train stations in a very walkable sreets. We were arriving late afternoon and due to its close location to the Lasr Supper tours we were still able to catch our tour on time. Cafe next to hotel had excellent coffee and desserts options.
The place is really nice. Esp for those who like to be immersed in a more historical atmosphere vs something more modern. Centrally located and walking distance to all the most important attractions of Milano. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly. For those travelling by car, there's a very close garage available with a pricing agreement through the Hotel. Overall a great stay. Thanks!
Amazing hotel in the heart of the city. Easy to catch a tram or metro. Also very close to duomo. The front door opens up and you found yourself in this amazing hotel .. it is almost like you are travelled in back in time. Just like in those old Italian movies.
We only stayed at this hotel one night but I wish we had stayed longer. The room was small but comfortable. It was the most comfortable bed of our trip. Breakfast was great. The hotel is set back from the street in a courtyard which made it very quiet and private. There was some noice from other rooms- but not excessive, just the nature of an older building. Would definitely stay again if I was in Milan!
The hotel itself was okay. Not great, not terrible just okay. Check in and check out was a little more stressful than usual but staff did everything they could to accommodate. Receipts through Expedia started it was paid and they stated it was not, which was a headache but we got it worked out. Extremely loud environment. Our last evening around midnight men chatting in the courtyard and because of the structure of the building, it sounded like he had a megaphone. Some type of repairs or construction work began early in the morning which resulted in a lot of pounding and banging. The upside….the hotel was very clean. Staff was wonderfully kind and accommodating.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
I typically dislike writing negative reviews but some things rubbed me wrong. I will start with the good parts: the location is excellent, it is a clean hotel with really good breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and our room was quiet. I wish they provided 1 bottle of water a day; instead we only got one bottle each on our first day (not a huge deal).
Some of the staff look miserable and had an attitude. I am not someone who bothers people and asks too many questions and I understand when people have a bad day or family issues they can’t leave behind. But when I asked questions I received eye rolls and snappiness from some people. During breakfast an American family thought they forgot their key in the room and one staff member mumbled in the passing “Vero Americano” very rudely which did upset me. I didn’t react but it rubbed me the wrong way and wanted to translate to this family but decided not to ruin their vacation and experience. This hotel has a lot of potential and I hope they will improve their professional skills.
Such a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel—in a lovely area completely convenient walking distance to so many great Milan highlights. Fantastic breakfast, lovely staff.
