Spent the past 4 nights here & we had a lovely time. We originally chose the hotel, became we had a late flight & wanted to be close to the Central train station. You can see the sign for the hotel, as soon as you walk out of the train station. During the day, we tend to walk, so we don't miss things. The Duomo is about a half hour walk, but theres a Metro 60 seconds from the hotel if needed. There are also a number of nice restaurants 5 mins walking from the hotel. The room was a nice size, clean & the decor is quirky, in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Which we loved! The breakfast was great, but not so good on the waistline. Cakes, biscuits, pastries, bread, cheeses, hams, pancakes, nuts, fruit, cereals... & last of all. I would like to say a huge thank you to Alex Da Silva. I contacted the hotel the week before we arrived. To see if they could add some extras to the room, as we arrived on my Husbands birthday. Alex went above & beond & nothing was too much trouble. We have plenty on the bucket list, but if we come back to Milan, we would stay here again.

The staff was helpful, giving directions and a map. The room was clean and well stocked with towels, hot water pot with tea, coffee and cream powder and sugar. It was quiet except that our room was literally right next to the elevator. The elevator itself was pretty quiet. Occasionally a few people bumped luggage against the hallway but overall.a very good stay. Lots of restaurant options in addition to the breakfast (extra) on site. The hotel has small rooms for one or two people in addition to suites.

The room was incredibly small and so close to the elevator that it was literally impossible to open the door to the room if someone was waiting for or coming out of the elevator.

1. was in room 110. There was no shower curtain so much so we have to shower in the tube very carefully. Due to the winter weather, we shower with hot water which caused evaporation in the entire bath room making it wet top to bottom. This is dangerous because a wet floor causes dangerous fall. So we place towels on the floor. Imagine how troublesome it is for the chambermaids. 2. The basin tap was so difficult to turn it on/shut. They should lubricate it annually. 3. Kettle boiled water leaving a layer of particles on the water surface. Didn't seem hygienic. 4. Bed mattresses were worn out affecting a good sleep.
