Exceptional property, but overall experience was marred by suboptimal interactions/service. Staff seemed like they were genuinely trying, but disorganized and inexperienced. Not nearly as polished as other top hotels in Milan. Will probably stay the Mandarin Oriental, Bvlgari, or Armani again before I would return to The Portrait, which is a shame because the hard product is excellent.
