WoodSpring Suites Fort Walton Beach - Eglin AFB

"This is a brand new extended stay hotel. Desk staff was curteous and helpful and other support staff were very professional. Everything was clean and functional. Due it's "newness", there was a lingering smell of new carpet and solvent, which I did not like and which triggered a migraine in me. This isn't anybody's fault, nor can anybody do anything about it, but it was still unpleasant. The room itself is small, but functional. AC unit was struggling to keep the place cooled, but was eventually able to get me comfortable. The room was a mini suite with a nice big refrigerator, big microwave, two burner stove and big stainless steel sink. However, there were no plates, cups, bowls, silverware or cookware, only a small plastic cutting board. So, that did make me grin. This didn't affect me, since I only spent a couple of nights, but would be a problem for someone staying longer. The bathroom is large, bright and very nice. I overall recommend this and would come back."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pensacola Beach

"This was our first family trip to Pensacola, and I sure am glad we chose Fairfield Inn & Suites. Check in was a breeze with the friendly staff, who accommodated us with an early check in since a room was available upon our arrival. The room was nice and clean which was a relief plus the ocean view made every penny worth it. The pool was great and there was immediate access to the beach which was wonderful because it was only about a seventy yard walk to the sand. Every staff member we interacted with were friendly and extremely helpful. My family LOVED the complimentary breakfast and it gave us a great start to each of our days. We’ve already decided that we will be back!"

"Our flight was delayed and we missed our 1st night: they were very understanding and kind enough to credit that night. Location was perfect : on the Sound with a small private beach, gorgeous pool and across the street from the Gulf Beach. Walkable restaurants and shops , yet peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful as is the woman running it. Front desk staff was very friendly! Loved the bikes and even if we didn't kayak, awesome to have them. GREAT place to stay, very chill."

"I’m all about clean beds and bathrooms, and this hotel provides exactly what I need. It’s not a new hotel, and there are definitely a few things that could be maintained better, but it is clean—and for me, that’s the most important thing. You also can’t beat the price! The front desk staff are very friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even better. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, affordable place to stay without expecting luxury, I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Our room was damp and musty everyday. Drying our bathing suits was an impossibility. The 15 dollar a day parking fee does not include taxes and fees. The staff and location are both excellent."

"The breakfast was not that great..bacon, waffles maker, boiled eggs, and non-dairy for coffee could be added to the menu..the pancake maker was not great at making pancakes that needs to be taken away.who ever came up with that concept needs to rethink on the pancake mix. Other then that very clean and great employees"
