Upon looking at this listing online, I was very excited for our trip. We had more struggles with this property than other VRBO’s we’ve stayed at, however. The parking pass was not there when we arrived at 9pm on a Sunday night. Thankfully we weren’t towed. The fan stopped working in the living room. Had maintenance come to discover we needed a remote. Found it in the master bedroom dresser. There was broken glass on the shelf by the glasses. I had to wash all the dishes in the dishwasher again (lots of food and water stains). The comforter in the master bedroom also was stained. Finally, the golf cart didn’t have the right code to access the key. The number we were given to call was helpful, but I’ve never had to call a given number in the past for simple things like parking passes.
Normally when we stay at a VRBO, we are given specific instructions on how to get to our room. None here. It was easy enough to figure out but it’s nice to have instructions on how to find the room and/or elevator. The beach is across the street but you can’t have a canopy of any kind so we always drove down the road a couple of blocks to the public beach. Would have been nice to know. If you aren’t tech savvy, don’t stay here. All information comes through on an app. No instructions/information left at the condo.
Positives, we liked that there were bunk beds for our kids. The golf cart was fun to drive around in. The pool was nice on a rainy day where we could swim when the rain stopped.
