Just renovated in warm coastal style! Our villa at 5190 Beach Walk is located near the beach, the Beachwalk swimming pool, and directly on Horseshoe Lake for catch and release fishing right outside the back door. It is convenient to the Beachwalk swimming pool - just a few steps away. Hop on the complimentary tram or take the golf cart to the Baytowne Wharf or sugar white beach. Getting around the resort is a breeze!

Our fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops makes it a pleasure to prepare and serve family meals. The stylish dining area offers seating for six guests with additional bar seating for four. With cushy seating and an HDTV, the family room is comfortable and inviting! There is even a sleeper sofa for unexpected guests. Take time to relax and enjoy a remarkable lake view from the back patio. For the chef in the group. there is also a propane grill on the patio along with brand new outdoor seating.

The master bedroom suite's bed offers a brand new king mattress with fresh linens, HDTV, generous closet space and a lovely lake view from the picture window. The master bathroom is designed with a double vanity and a bathtub-shower combination. The guest bedroom features a brand new king bed and mattress, HGTV and ample closet space. The adjoining guest bathroom offers a bathtub-shower combination. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer combination upstairs, and wifi is complimentary.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

The townhouse location and view is awesome. The furniture was comfortable and relaxing. The only negative was the golf cart needs replacing. It is not dependable and the battery would lose power in short period of time. If you don’t need a golf cart I would highly recommend this unit.

Overall Nice Unit

The unit itself is very nice. It was clean and as described in the listing. We checked in about 45 minutes after the check-in allowable time and received a surprised visit from the cleaning inspector. It wasn’t a big deal at all as she was very friendly and apologized for interrupting our stay. The golf cart was nice to have to get around the property. It could use a good detailing and a new key chain for the keys. A few throw blankets could also be added. The washer and dryer worked perfectly as well as all the kitchen appliances.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used that cart to go to dinner the night we got here and ended pushing it halfway back, thats the only time it was used. They kept telling us they would fix it everyday and finally put new batteries on it the adternoon before we left. By that time we had plans for the evening and didn't get to use it. I had a VRBO rented and they were nice enough to help me find a place with a golf cart and let me transfer. I am so upset about all this. The unit was not very clean at all, I cleaned the kitchen before using it, and then we found a pair of dirty socks under the dining room table. They are still there because I was not touching them. They only refund $250.00 for the golf cart, whichwas ridiculous. This has been the most disappointing trip we've ever had in Destin, and we come every year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This part of Florida is beautiful and fun for families and couples alike. I’m a frequent traveler and a frequent visitor to FL from neighboring Alabama. This rental provided a less than ideal place to call home for several days. First, the lighting outside the villa is non existent. There are broken boards along the fences beside your gate entry and the furniture on the front patio is mildewed. The wood in many outside locations is rotten. There is dated furniture throughout. The mattresses have a large dip in the middle. One of the beds kept falling off of the slats during sleep. There are multiple drips and leaks. One of the ground faulted outlets, which is installed crooked, in a bathroom kept tripping the breaker and you would have no power beside each of the sinks. We got ready for dinner in the kitchen and living room. We kept having to flip the breaker otherwise. The golf cart is ancient with balding and dry rotted tires. We had to call and get the tires blown up. I’ve never actually left a review before but I found this one necessary. We never let this stop us from enjoying our trip but would never stay in this location again.

Great Location

Overall the stay was great. It was off the beach so it wasn’t as busy but it was a short ride in the golf cart to get to the beach. My family and I loved it especially my 4 year old.

We enjoyed the convenience of this location along with the view from the back of the rental. The added golf cart was a plus! The downstairs area had a good set up. Upstairs shows two twin beds in one room and a queen in the second room in the pictures. However one room had a queen and the second room a king bed.

Many problems/ repairs needed

The Property was in a nice location easy to the pool the golf cart made it easy to go to the beach and surrounding areas within the community. The golf cart would only go 11 miles an hour which made it tough because all the other golf carts and cars we’re having to constantly go around us. We started experiencing a leak in the ceiling on day two or three in which we did call maintenance , Maintenance came out andthey said it had been an ongoing problem

I had to literally go through and clean almost everything in here. When you go on vacation you don't go to clean the place you are staying in. The outside grill was so nasty, but they did replace it. I understand this is an older place, but that doesn't mean you can't take care of it.
