"Stayed for two nights in a 2 bedroom villa. The place was very clean, beds and bedding were comfortable. The place could stand a refresh - more so the kitchen and bathrooms but not terribly awful by any means. The area of the property where we stayed was quiet and peaceful."

"Escaped into another world on each floor's hallway-the memorabilia and artwork spoke of an honest, New England history. The atmosphere was perfect for a genuine, original immersion into New England's past and LOVED going up and down the 150yr old elevator! Meals delicious w/excellent service. Only one issue we had: the AC in the room was difficult to adjust and were quite chilled even w/turning the thermostat up to 80 deg!!!!!!!!! as suggested by the front desk. Shall make this a yearly visit!"

"Our room was very clean and comfortable - exactly what we needed to rest well. Breakfast was excellent and we felt well taken care of. We are grateful for the friendly and welcoming hosts and their staff who listened to every need and graciously provided for us. We’ll definitely return for another stay when we’re in the area."

"I can not say enough about how wonderful this stay was! The hosts had great communication, the house was spotless (and this is a LARGE house), they had every possible thing you could need and the best part was all the cabinets were labeled so we didn't have to hunt for things!! The pool was spotless, the beds were comfortable, the property was large with plenty of parking space. we met Lisa the caretaker and she was fixing a door whcih shows they really take care of this place. She was lovely to meet and was right there if we needed anything. Incredible memories were made in this house for our 49th family reunion. Not one compliant (and trust me- that says alot!) One Aunt said she liked it better than the Red Lion Inn! Already there is talk about booking it for next year. The location was excellent- 10-15 min away from Stockbridge, Lee, Lenox and Great Barrington. Lots to do in the area. Just can't say enough wonderful things about this place! HIGHLY recommend!!"

Hearth House | Prime Location!

"This property was better than expected! The photos don’t do it justice. It was ideal for my husband and me to share with our son and small granddaughter with them having their privacy upstairs, but ample room for us to all be together downstairs, and a wonderful bedroom suite for us. The yard and patio are lovely. We so appreciated the ample supplies provided (at some rentals we’ve had to run to a store to augment things that ran out) and the well appointed kitchen. We love the area and we’re only sorry our stay wasn’t long enough to take full advantage of everything on and off site. My only suggestion is that the information provided upon leaving would be helpful to have upfront, particularly because some things mentioned differed from information in the handbook on the property, and it would help to plan better for day of departure. Oh, and communication was terrific with Jayren being very responsive to any questions."

"This house is magnificent but unfortunately is not maintained well. The basement bedroom had not been cleaned and had spiders. The shower was so dirty that we did not use it. The picture of the deck has an umbrella for shade. No umbrella and the furniture cover was upside down on the deck full of stagnant water. The photos of the garden were deceiving as the raised beds were full of weeds and the lawn has not been mowed for a long time. There were strict instructions for taking out the trash but could not be followed as the trash had not been picked up from the previous tenant. We paid a lot of money to rent this house and don't feel that it lived up to its description."

"Great place and location for our trip to the Berkshires. Love the modern architecture. Close to all our favorite places in Stockbridge, Lenox and Great Barrington yet very quiet and spacious. There were just 2 of us and we appreciated that everything we needed was on one floor -a bedroom with bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining area and laundry. Would be a great place for a family with bedrooms and family rooms downstairs"
