Ideal hideaway for up to 2 people.

Ideal hideaway for up to 2 people. Very spacious for a small property except perhaps the bathroom. Hosts live at the same site and very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Situation great. Felt remote but in fact not far from Cinderford. Very interesting area for natural history and for the story of the Forest of Dean.

The Hayloft Cottage is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views from the terrace. A warm welcome awaits you from the owners Sandi and David. Who will talk you through the amenities of the cottage and the local area. The accommodation gives your holiday character and a comfortable stay. This cottage is situated in a working farm and has roaming sheep gives the feeling of country life and complement the cottage well. We were kindly given fresh eggs on our first morning which were superb. Easy access to main activities and places of interest in the Forest of Dean.

Dave and Sandy simply could not have been more welcoming.

Dave and Sandy simply could not have been more welcoming. They run a little gem which is situated in a stunning location, within the beautiful Forest of Dean. If you wish to escape and unwind, whilst reconnecting with nature at the same time, then this den of tranquillity will be for you. The place is better than the photos suggest and it's really well equipped. One visit isn't enough.
